Bangle-Making Stage I


Bangles are made to order in Hyderabad. The raw material is heated atop a portable furnace and wound around a wooden mandrel.

Bangle-Making Stage II

The formed bangle is now heated for final shaping. This is a cottage industry in Hyderabad. This display was in the courtyard of a five star hotel where I was attending a National conference.
